Elaine and I send our love and sympathies to the family of Phyllis MacKenzie. Although we were not fortunate enough to know her, she must have been extraordinary to have raised such a warm and caring family.

Dear Mommy Mack,
As we always told each other, we were each others' favorite son-in-law and mother-in-law. I am so blessed to have gotten to know you and be part of your life. We have been preparing for such a day, but dang this really hurts!! I will always remember the great times and miss you!!!! I really hope Claudia got that linguine and clam sauce recipe down! I love you!!

Dear Phyllis,
I'm gonna miss were such an amazing woman and for the past 16 years you were always there to shine your warm, bright light on my path by exemplifying courage, dignity, grace & serenity in all you did. Your kindness was boundless. You taught me to look for the good, the 'gifts', in life. You were a true gift and your light will shine forever in my heart. Rest in peace, Phyllis, my mentor, my inspiration, and my very dear friend.
