Truda Graham Obituary

Truda Byne Graham (77) passed away on January 15, 2024 after a long illness.

She was born in Washington, DC when her parents were on a trip. She was 2 months premature but was a fighter. She continued that same spirit in life.

She married young started a family then decided that she wanted a career in nursing. She started as a LPN then went back to school later in life to receive a bachelors degree in nursing. She was so proud to graduate as an RN. She spent her life caring for others in their time of need. She was born to a nurse.She lived a majority of her life in Florida until she relocated to North Carolina in  2007.

She enjoyed crocheting, working on puzzles and sudoku. She was an active member in her church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She had fond memories of Grace Lutheran Church in Florida and the bonds that she nurtured with her choir members there.

Surviving family members:

3 daughters-Elizabeth Carter, Mary Sprague (Scott) and Joan Gibbons (Mark).

5 siblings- Judith Dudinski, Brenda Kennedy (Roger), Joseph Byne (Laura), Carrie Holmes, Susan Maddox (Shaw)

7 grandchildren-Kimberly Burge, Melanie Burge, Cynthia Pifer (Kevin), Daniel Johnstone, Mark Borton, Jillian Gibbons and Marissa Gibbons

9 great grandchildren

Preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Evelyn Byne
